This class is open to actors at any stage of their careers. All audition practice will be filmed on HD video cameras with immediate playback for feedback and individualized coaching. Class size is kept small to ensure individualized attention for each student.

In this 10-week audition intensive, you will:

  • Explore your mindset around auditioning and begin to address the unknown barriers you may be creating for yourself in your auditions

  • Learn the do’s and don’ts of auditioning

  • Learn and practice the art of the slate – an often underestimated and misunderstood, yet critical skill for an on camera audition

Have you ever felt intimidated by the thought of working on a Shakespearean play or monologue?  Has that fear kept you from auditioning for a show you wanted to be in? If the answer is yes, you’re not alone. Many actors, even actors with years of experience, feel intimidated by Shakespeare and if you are one of them, you are missing out on the experience of working with some of the most iconic characters and stories in the history of the theater.

In this class, you will use your Meisner Technique training to work with monologues and scenes from Shakespeare’s comedies and tragedies.

Actors who have completed 3 sessions of professional Meisner Technique training are eligible to enroll.
